Meet Jim
I was blessed to grow up with the Nicklaus family and learned how to play the game from Jack Nicklaus and several other legendary players and coaches.
For the past 33 years, I’ve been coaching this great game, including 14 years with the Nicklaus/Flick Golf Schools and Rick Smith Golf Academy.
Working alongside some of the game’s most respected coaches helped shape how I teach and communicate. I learned how to take what I learned as a player and tailor it to the person I’m coaching, taking into account their skills, how they learn, and how much information they can comfortably put to use.
