Testimonial:

What an awesome four days of golf instruction. I have thought for years about going away to a golf camp to improve my game, but never could pull the trigger. Having a world class professional come to me was something special. The stories about his first hand experiences in golf course construction for Jack Nicklaus, the years he spent as an instructor for Rick Smith and the Nicklaus Flick golf schools as well as his time as a collegiate golfer with the Love Brothers would have been worth the price alone. For the past 25 years my index has ranged between 14.6 and 16.8. By the end of the summer after my Jim Sowerwine instructional period my index bottomed out at 10.4. Need I say more!

Have you thought about attending a top ranked Golf School and spending a few days improving your game?  Then you’ve also probably factored in the cost of the school, travel, hotel, dining, additional rounds of golf, etc… Well, then consider bringing it to you?

Jim Sowerwine has been the Director of Instruction at one of Golf Magazine’s Top 25 Golf Schools, has worked with (taught) Tour players from every professional tour, has played professional golf, yet his passion is to share his insight and experiences with others.

Jim has traveled to work with clients at their northern homes in the past but hadn’t put much thought into developing his “travel to you” program until this past summer, following the suggestion to do so from one of his clients who last summer brought him in to work with he and his wife on their games.  See this client testimonial and image on the left of this page.

There are a few logistics that need to be worked out, one for example is – some resident golf professionals may prefer to not have an outside professional teach one of their members at their facility; however, there are a few ways around this if this is the case.

Jim’s main objective will be to help you play and score better, and while there will indeed be some time spent working on the range and short game areas, there’s no better place to learn how to play and score than on the course, so definitely plan on playing.  Also, keep in mind, this is your personal program, at your facility, so while Jim may make some recommendations, you will make the final decisions as to what the daily agenda will be.

Please contact Jim personally to learn more.

PS.  If you have a couple of friends who you regularly play with who may also be interested in improving their games, please mention it to Jim, as this is a good way to reduce your costs.
